Crocheted Makeup bag

This might not be to everyone's taste, but I had fun making it and I am happy with the results. it's going to be inside my purse, so it doesn't have to be the best-looking.

Yarn: Filatura Di Crosa Millefili Fine - Made in Italy - One ball cinnamon-coloured and one ball copper-coloured. (I got the yarn on sale for 4.99 per ball.) I bought 2 ball each and here is a photo of how much I had left.
Hook size: 2.5 mm

Stitches used: Single Crochet (SC), Half-double Crochet (HDC), Chain (CH)

Finished product is 9" x 5"

With cinnamon, chain 65 plus 1.

Row 1: SC in 2nd stitch from hook, SC in 64 more stitches across. (Total 65 sts) Do not finish off yarn.

Row 2: With copper, attach to project and ch 1, turn. HDC in same stitch and 64 sts across. Make sure to carry cinnamon behind stitches(Total 65 sts). Do not finish.

Repeat Row 1 and 2 as many times as you like, making sure to finish with a Row 1. Photo shows 17 repeats plus Row 1.

Fold in half and with cinnamon do SC across to join both sides. Finish off yarn.

Attach cinnamon to other side and do SC through both sides to end. Finish off yarn.

Turn so SC joining rows are inside.

Attach copper to any stitch at the end and do a complete round of SC around the top. Join with SS to 1st SC, Ch 1. Do not turn.

Do HDC around. Decide where you want your fasteners attached and at those points make a chain 3 between 2 HDC's but do not skip a stitch. In my case, it was 10 HDC, CH3, 10 HDC, CH 3, 4 HDC, CH 3, 10 HDC, CH 3, 10 HDC, then HDC around and SS to join to start of row.

Sew in lose ends. Attach your fasteners or buttons. Voila! It is complete. You can make a liner, if you like. For me, this will work just fine.
